The Attic Network Backup Project is designed to help users to maintain their data against errors. In doing so we are building services to allow users to maintain backups of the web applications to allow them to be quickly recovered in the event of a system or server crash.

The Attic Network Developers have learnt first hand, the pain of having a database go corrupt. So we designed this system that will generate a database dump from a server and upload it to a backup ftp server.

We can not how ever afford to maintain copies of your backups, so in turn to use this service you must have a web accessible ftp server to load the backup to.

The service is designed to backup MySQL databases to an FTP server of your choice at periodic intervals that you set. You can do this by signing up for the service. The Attic Network takes the details you provide in confidence, and we do not resell or make these details publicly available.
